Easy Family Cooking Recipe for Less Than 30 Minutes

When it comes to Family Cooking, one may relate the phrase with start-from-scratch, authentic regional cuisine that is hard to make but not so hard to devour. But in these recent times, when living expenses increase on monthly basis and inflation is an everyday vocabulary, there are only a handful of women who stay at home and have the time to cook complicated, time-consuming meal for the family. If you are a working mother or a single mother with two jobs then you know that it needs an extra strength to cook a start-from-scratch dinner for your kids. But store-bought instant pre-packaged lasagna and oatmeal are not the best answer. Deep down you know that everyone needs some nurturing food to digest, especially the kids who are just in their growing-up phase.

Fortunately, you could find numerous Family Cooking books and articles on the internet to help you out. Amazon has several great Family Cookbooks available in stores at affordable price and the internet has been main source for almost anything you may want to ask. Some of good Family Cooking websites post articles and recipes that are healthy and easy to make, plus their additional nutritional analysis per portion/ serving. For those who want to learn more about healthy family cooking, they could sign up and subscribe for regular newsletters provided by the Family Cooking websites. There are so many variations of food recipes that some websites categorized them into specific sections such as: Chicken for menus with chicken as the main ingredients, Pasta, Quick Cooks for food that needs less than 30 minutes to prepare, and Budget Food for food that will satisfy your hunger and give you nutrients you need.

Here is one of my Family Cooking recipes that need less than 30 minutes to prepare:

- 3 cloves of garlic, crushed

- 3 tablespoon of olive oil

- 2 ounces of shrimp shelled and devein

- 2 medium-sized tomatoes, chopped

- 1 medium-sized pepper

- Spices: oregano, basil, salt and pepper, a sprinkle of sugar

- 2 tablespoon of tomato pasta

- 2 ounces of orecchiette pasta

- Parmesan cheese

Cook the pasta and drain, toss olive oil and add a sprinkle of salt. While you cook the pasta, heat the pan over medium heat, pour the olive oil, and add garlic. Wait until the garlic is golden brown, then add the shrimp and cook for about 3 minutes. Add the tomatoes and pepper. Lastly add the tomato pasta. Cook for 2 minutes before adding the spices and sugar. Cook until the shrimp is done. Put the pasta into the pot and pour the tomato and shrimp mixture. Cook for a while in low heat. Add the Parmesan and serve immediately.

It sounds good, but I always add garlic at the end of simmering sauce, cause when cooked longer garlic loses it`s aroma. Try it ;)

Sounds delicious. For those who can’t eat regular pasta because of the carbohydrates, Dreamfields pasta is a very good low-carb pasta that tastes as good as any regular pasta.
